Tony Nixon I *think* this is looking along Entwisle Road at the junction of Halifax Road. To bottom left of the pic would now be the Texaco garage. The Motorist’s Supermarket is the humble beginnings of Carcraft.

Kath Severs I used to work for Frank McKee who owned the Motorist Supermarket along with the “Little One” petrol station at Heybrook Corner and the petrol station that was at the end of Water Street before he went on to be “Carcraft” car sales. Happy Days.

Raees Mahmood Khan I love this Facebook page! I’ve heard my dad talk about these places since I was knee-high to a grasshopper! The early days of Carcraft etc! It’s amazing to actually see them now as he did when he first came to Rochdale!
