The lavvy could be found in the communal backyard, so common in the terraced houses off Spotland Road. I think that’s an outside “lavvy”! — in Rochdale.
John Lord That almost looks like the alley at the back of Julia St., so those would be the rear of the houses on Halliwell St.

Cathal Mcentee The house on the left had a bit of work done on it, sink, bath and toilet waste and vent bricks, new windows and repointed by the looks.
